Why OBITREND exists
OBITREND was created around a practical idea: fashion creators should be able to explore visual concepts without arranging a full production every time they have an idea. A garment can inspire a campaign, a new collection story or a product presentation. Turning that idea into polished imagery traditionally involves models, photographers, studios, locations, lighting, styling and coordination.
Our ambition is to make the early creative process more accessible. OBITREND brings AI-assisted fashion image creation and creative tools into one digital destination. It is designed for independent designers, fashion businesses, stylists, creators and people exploring new ways to present clothing.
Rooted in Nigeria, open to the world
Fashion creativity is global, but the resources available to creators are not always equal. Independent labels and small businesses in Nigeria may face significant costs when organising product photography. Designers in other markets face their own challenges: fast-moving catalogues, frequent product updates and the need to produce consistent visual content across digital channels.
OBITREND is built with this broad audience in mind. We want a designer in Aba or Lagos, a small label in Port Harcourt, and a creative team in London or New York to be able to explore the same digital workflow. The platform is online; access to particular features depends on the live app, account status and available credits.
